Last updated: 7 August 2026

Maana Health (“Maana Health”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website maanahealth.com and the Maana Spine, Joint & Wellness Clinic locations in Aluva, Kochi, Kozhikode, Perinthalmanna, and Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you give us directly. When you fill out a contact, appointment, or enquiry form on this website, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, preferred clinic location, and the reason for your enquiry (which may include information about a health condition you are seeking treatment for).
  • Information from WhatsApp. If you use the WhatsApp chat button on this site to message us, that conversation is handled through WhatsApp (owned by Meta) under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy and terms, in addition to this one.
  • Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we and our third-party tools automatically collect some technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site (for example, from a Facebook or Instagram ad or post).

Cookies and tracking technologies we use

This website uses cookies and similar technologies, including through the following third-party services:

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors who arrive from Facebook or Instagram use our site, and to measure and improve our Facebook/Instagram advertising. This shares certain visit and interaction data with Meta. You can control how Meta uses this data through your Facebook/Instagram ad preferences, and you can opt out of interest-based Meta ads at facebook.com/help/568137493302217.
  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics. We use Google’s tools to understand overall site traffic and usage patterns (for example, which pages are viewed and for how long). Google’s use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Reviews widget. We display our public Google reviews on this site using a third-party widget. This does not collect personal information from you as a visitor.
  • Jetpack. We use Jetpack for basic site statistics and security features, provided by Automattic.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect how parts of the site function.

How we use your information

  • To respond to appointment requests and enquiries you submit;
  • To contact you by phone, email, or WhatsApp about your enquiry or appointment;
  • To understand how visitors find and use our website, including from our Facebook and Instagram advertising, so we can improve it;
  • To maintain the security and proper functioning of the website.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use information you submit through an enquiry form for advertising targeting without your consent.

Health information

If you share details about a health condition through our contact or appointment forms, we treat that information as sensitive and limit its use to responding to your enquiry, scheduling your care, and internal clinical record-keeping by our care team. We do not share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your information

We retain enquiry and appointment form submissions, along with patient records, for up to 5 years from your last visit or contact with us, after which they are securely deleted, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us how it is being used, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond in line with applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults seeking information about our clinics and services. If a form is submitted on behalf of a minor, it should be submitted by a parent or guardian.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
